Skills developed include organic smallholding, forestry and all things to do with ecology. I organise conferences and holidays for up to 100 people, fix the roof and mend plumbing, facilitate effective meetings, focus on rural politics and study global environmental policy. I write fiction, spend good time with children and watch 'Match of the Day'."
