Nancy Rollason

I am a solicitor, qualified for 10 years. My specialism is in Social Services Law, but I have been giving free papers, talks and advice to various activist groups for about 4-5years on aspects of both Criminal and Civil Law. I am an experienced advocate in both the County and High Court. My current interests are the implications of the Terrorism Act 2000 and the criminalisation of activists Europe wide, set against the Human Rights Act. I have given public talks on this and have been asked to write an article. I am also interested in how individuals and groups can use the Law to their advantage ( e.g. Judicial Review ), and states of denial on an individual, social and political level.

I have been an activist (and mostly Vegan) since the '80s, and my concerns have evolved from local environmental issues to the global and political. I am also commited to Non Violent Direct Action, and have trained as a trainer in NVDA. I am 40 years old, have a 17 year old son and an understanding partner and am trying to live in the countryside
